Helping At   Shalom   House

You can help. There are many ways you can help Shalom House continue to serve and support homeless women and their children. Financial support from individuals and businesses, faith organizations, and others are always appreciated and necessary for Shalom House to remain a place where women and their children can be safe. In addition to financial support, in-kind donations are welcome and encouraged. Women and children who come to the shelter often have little more than the clothing on their backs. Shalom House tries to supply the basics: Clothing - for women and girls of all ages, and boys up to age 13 Linens Household items and cleaning supplies Toiletries Small appliances, including some furniture Volunteers are an important part of Shalom House's success. You can help by participating in or planning a fundraiser for Shalom House, volunteering a few hours of your time at the house each month, or help clients get to appointments.
