Open House Event, August 24, 2024
Our emergency shelter closed for a few weeks this summer for some essential upgrades, including new paint, flooring, deep cleaning, and various repairs. Now, we'd like to invite the community, our sponsors, partners, donors, and anyone interested to learn more about the Shalom House mission, meet our dedicated staff, and see the facility!
"Adopt-A-Room" Program
During the open house, we will introduce our new "Adopt-A-Room" program. This initiative allows organizations, groups, families, and individuals to have a direct impact on our residents by sponsoring a room in our 19-bed emergency shelter. Adopting a room will help provide the comforts of home to women and their children during some of their most challenging times. Additional details on the program will be available during the open house event.
